“Having travelled extensively around france for the last two years for work, when you find a good place to stay that's within the work budget, it really is a breath of fresh air. Stripped beams and antique decor make the rooms feel cosy and welcoming. The restaurant is excellent. We sat in front of a large roaring inglenook fireplace eating beef that you could cut with a butter knife, and breakfast is simple but excellent. The best thing about this hotel however is the staff, so genuinely friendly and sweet with every interaction.”
“Fantastic accommodation. Very lovingly furnished and managed. Very comfortable beds. Perfect breakfast. Dinner available on request and lovingly prepared. I will certainly be back soon.”
“A lovely, welcoming hotel in a fabulous location. We had the nicest stay, the staff all make you feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble. We walked into town for dinner on the boardwalk by the river which was beautiful, although the hotel does do drinks and a small menu in the evenings when they can. The pool is small but very welcome on a hot day in a small walled garden with loungers. There is also a pagoda to sit in in the garden with lovely views. Aurélie, Kate and Lauren are great, the rooms are spotless and have beautiful beams and furniture. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back.”
